HOW TO STYLE A POLO T-SHIRT

--YOLO to wear POLO--
Planning provides structure to life and yes, life is really a vast term.
So, in fact, if planned properly and executed in the right way, a structure can be provided to each and everything around you.
Similar thought process and planning went into providing structure to the t-shirt. What came out was a t-shirt with a well-built collar and placket neckline with two or three buttons. Slowly these structured t-shirts became part of the wardrobe for jockeys. With time these t-shirts found their way into other sports as well, like tennis, golf and many others.
Polo t-shirts have come a long way and now they are a part of styling game.
I personally love the way these t-shirts feel around my neck and my biceps. The way it’s material hug my body makes me feel so confident.
I firmly believe that this is an essential piece of clothing and every individual should own it.

Points to keep in mind while buying a polo t-shirt
1.    Length matters: Length of the t-shirt and length of the sleeves matter a lot. Your t-shirt should go about two inches past your waistband and it should end right around mid-fly. If it goes all the way to the bottom of your fly, it's too long and will make you look shorterYour sleeves should be in the mid-way of your shoulder and elbow, exposing a little bit of your triceps.

2.    Basics: If you are buying it for the first time, try investing in the basic and classic colours and pieces instead of putting in money for the pieces you are never going to wear. And if you have basic pieces then you experiment and play around with the colours. According to me, the basic colours are Black, White, Navy Blue, Olive Green, Grey and Burgundy.

3.    Minimal: Keep in mind that minimal is the key. A polo t-shirt without logo and without any pattern is the best.

Fasten your seat belts as I am going to take you on a ride through the points on HOW TO STYLE A POLO T-SHIRT
1.    Formal Styling: Tuck your polo t-shirt in the trousers or chinos to give you that sharp and sleek look and pair it with loafers, white sneakers or formal shoes. In the business world, Light-Dark rule is followed, which says your upper should be of light colour and your lower should be of dark colour. But I feel you can always experiment with the colours.
And yes your accessories should with well matched with your shoes. Well matched means that their colour should be similar or contrasting to that of your shoes. Accessories here include watch, belt and bracelets.
You can always throw a blazer over your polo t-shirt to add a flavour to your outfit.

2.   Casual Styling: Pair your polo t-shirt with jeans or shirts. Wearing jeans and sneakers with this tee you can create a perfect college outfit. Wearing shorts and slip-ons with this tee you can create a perfect beach outfit. But both these outfits will really relax and stylish at the same time.

3.   Athleisure Styling: Throw on any track pant or jogger with some training sneakers to create a proper athleisure look. Make sure all your pieces of clothing are properly fitted to give that nice sleek look.

These points show that polo t-shirt is so versatile and can be styled it 3 different ways.

Now you are ready to flaunt your polo look.
